inlet and outlet sizes?

need to kno the inlet and outlet sizes for my bros 97 camaro....cant seem to find them on the net....help!

I measure a set of stock manifolds I think there aroun 1.5" primaries with 2" collector (if you can call it that)

if you mean mufler it's 3 inch in dual 2.5" out, there are muflers avalible with 3" in dual 3" out


thats what it is on a V8 I'm not sure on a 6

yes but 3" isn't 3" it's 2 3/4" and 2.5" outlets

your car has an 8 right?

just read your sig LT1 is 3" in, 2.5" out for sure I have an LT1 car in my driveway

how did you measure?

I'm sure you have 3", 2.5 in/2.25 out mufler is for 6's, third gens that don't have tpi and grand nationals

measured right at the tip of the inlet and outlets...im 100% sure they're 2.5 in 2.25 out

yeap i got it installed...fit perfect

thats fucked, my 305 has 3", so does the 95 lt1

that is screwed...i measured everything with a micrometer though so it was pretty much down to a tee

but dont forget...95's are single cat from what i remember....96-97 got dual cat thats why they were rated +10HP...im sure that has something to do with it
