well i was racing a mustang when my motor blew! smoked him though ;D it was brand new one, 5sp GT modded out. he decided to use 5th gear so i had to show him up, past him, then pulled him 5 lengnths after i gave him a 4 sec head start from 100mph ;D after the 5 lengths i pulled on him my motor blew ;D

no the mustang had a 5 speed, that has more top speed then my 3 speed 1to1 final with 4.10's on small tires! i owned it so bad but he tried to keep going so i didnt let up, we both didnt, my mistake, incline+2 people+slicks and all gear= 4000lbs+ and it had a vibration and when i got on it again the ignition missed and skipped and that was enough to let it go. keep in mind that this was at about 6900rpms!!!!! with stock rods+arp's the ignition backfire caused it to blow, cuz it was already at 98% tolerances >:( >:( so STFU chris i owned the stang and pushed my car too hard. id like to see a stang with 4000lbs of weight go 7000rpm with a 3.5inch stroke with stock iron rods, so bite me ::) mine did it for 3 years till it finally decided to give up :P

the motor was 100% fine till i ran it to 7K lol thats when it decided to start getting lose withing a couple min boom. the whole year i was running 13.05 etc with no problems whatsoever. it was an unrelated incident to looseness :)
