Rim Repair

Hey, first time posting at this board; I didn't realize that this site existed until last night, but I'm glad to see it! I live out in Abby and I've got a set of one-stripe IROC rims. Two of them need some repair from where the previous owner rode them against a curb. >:( I've talked to a few people around here, but none of them have really had any answers for me. I'm wondering if you guys know of anyone that does good work in the area? Price range? I'd like to strip and polish them this winter, but I can't get on that until I get them fixed. Thanks a lot.

I can't say enough good things about Panther wheel repair in Surrey. They did all 4 of my IROC-Z rims and they did an excellent job straightening my Jeep rim when I bent it badly 4x4'n.

Thanks! I'll look into that. Obviously it will vary from rim to rim, but, in general, what kind of prices are we talking here? I'm a full-time student working 20 hours a week, so I've got to budget accordingly. (AKA, I don't have much money ;) ) I'm guessing... 150-250 per rim?

that price seems about right... if you ask me, it may not be worth fixing, you may be able to find 2 rims for $300 or less~! give it a shot, id sell ya 2 rims for $300... but the newly refinished ones would probably look better for $400, but then ure other 2 might not look as nice

its about $125 a rim to make them brand new again. i got mine done over three years ago and they still look good.
