So I've picked up this black 92 R7U car (1 of 3), VIN 130492, and would like to find out its race history. It has the holes in the floorpan from the rollcage and a patch in the roof from the antenna. I bought it out of Kamloops, the guy there bought it in 1996 from the local Hyundai dealer with 85,000 km and a repaint. Reportedly it came from a couple in Merritt before that.

Any help with finding out this car's history (driver, photos, etc) would be great. Thanks!

Checked, and have also contacted Mark. he has nothing, and there doesn't seem to be any online records of such things. I've looked through all theAutosource pics and videos and all I could find for black cars in the West in 1992 are Frank Allers #1 and #12, and Tony Morris #88. In the East were Spenard (#42) and Cadman (#71.)

Thoughts?

"Sold in British Columbia, Dealer not Recorded." Not quite sure how a car can disappear like that, but probably typical of a series race car.

track those cars down and take out the ones you find
