Just installed my new Covans gauge cluster, tried to install the Autometer speedo sender and I can't get the unit to seat properly on the transmission speedo cable hook-up.
I checked both pieces with calipers, turns out the inside diameter of the Autometer sender is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the speedo cable hook-up.
I have already destroyed one cable hook-up trying to force this POS into place and the brand new one I got from GM is not going to fit either.
Anybody out there had a similar problem?
