So many different years man, they came in vans and shit too. I got mine out of a van, same bore and stroke as anything. Lots of chev trucks had them you can tell in the vin if its a 350 or not. I forgot but maybe its K or an M in a ceertain place but i donno ask jason (79z28)

there were so many options/models etc practically 100's lol the only way to really find out if it is one cuz motors can be changed, special models etc. is to look at the motor physically with the pan off, or run the casting #

hmm well no luck there, since the motor is in a toyota truck, somehow i think the motor isnt stock in that truck. :D

yes, but the serial number on the block will tell you exactly what its out of and what it is from that site

ok, i found out what the motors from. he got it from a 76 GMC jimmy. where could i find some headers for this? also, intake, carb, etc.

haha, my motor in my camaro is gonna cost to the tune of $9000 :'( id say about 190hp and 320 lb ft in pure stock trim. carb depends on what you want it for, a vacume secondary setup for street use for sure. id say 650-750 no more if your planning on intake/ exh etc, maybe a small cam eventually :)

well, its in a truck, and its going to be 4wheeled, so i want lots and lots of sexy torque. 38" tire smoking torque. :D

for a cam shaft im thinking the X4254H. its the xtreme 4x4 cam. 1000-5200 rpms, duration is 210/218 @.050, .447/.462 lift with 1.5 rockers, and 111 degrees lobe.

Try 1.6 RR, for better off-idle torque, you want low duration high lift cams. As far as carb goes, get a 4ME Rochestor carb, because the smaller primary venturis will provide better torque and when you need the power to spin the wheels a bit, the bigger secondary ones will give you that extra umph.

i was thinking about getting one of those holley truck avenger carbs, built for off-roading so they wont die at extreme angles and such. 670cfm carbs.
