I have been reading up on this and it looks fairly easy except that you have to cut a piece out of the front clip and re-support it to make space for the AC compressor. Anyone know if the AC compressor could just be relocated on the engine?

the frame needs to be notched, doesnt have to be reinforced, some say bashing it with a sledge hammer works as well. youd save a lot of headaches if you just ditched the AC. as far as i know you cant relocate it unless you get a vette accesory bracket, then it may not clear your hood.

theres a good article in Hot Rod about this swap right now. I think it was the Dec issue but it might have been the Jan one. Swapped into a 91 Z28 vert.
