so i was looking for a ford thunderbird SUpercoupe, and this place on colubia st. had it, devellis auto center or someshit like that. hes asking 6995 for it, its a 91 with sick paint so i offer him 5600, i figure is okay and i'll just go paint it elsewhere. he thinks bout it, takes the deal and i say its a deal UNDER THE CONDITION that i can get it inspected by BCAA and if it all goes good then i'll take it. so thats ifne, but he doesn't want them to come there cause he thinks they are disrespectvul. so i get a demo plate adn drive it to BCAA. i drop a 500 dollar deposit on the car and take off. turns out it has a shitload of problems, so i dont want the car. when i bring it back, he doesn't wan tto give me my 500 dollars back cuase he thikns theres problems with the clutch now, and tehres a knokcing noise from the engine. gay fag, so this morning i go down an bitch him out cuase i dind't do shit to his piece car, finally gives up and gave the deposit bcak. it was a scam from the start. he did'nt want bcaa to go to his place because he wanted me to drive it so he could say something was wrong and make 500 bucks. well i leraned my lesson, and fuck you "devellis auto"

I'd report the incident to the Better Business Bureau. That way if they try to do it again there's a record of the first time. ppl like that should be shot >:(

I had a similar incident at A Class Auto in Delta. I didnt give him any deposit but he sure didnt approve of BCAA coming out to inspect his vehicle(s). Needless to say I didnt buy from him!

there are quite a few rebuillds, but all have been inspected and are usually in great running condition. If you have any problems Sham doesnt rip people off, he'll fix it for you.

way too much IMO, the car needs a whole rear clip, and the front nose was repainted, and its only worth about 18-20g with no decs. its gonna cost at least 5-7g to fix plus 7g almost no profit in it :-X

i bid $5100 and thats only because i have a whole rear clip, that i can take out of the repair costs, plus the hatch was cracked heh, and the t tops were on crooked about 1/4" which meant the car was bent, frame shop here we come. hope he noticed that ;D

oh yes everything got noticed before i bid on it. Apparently i didnt pay to much cause people offered to buy it for more than i payed before i got it fixed. when it was on the frame machine it all got pulled back into shape, t-tops fit great now, the car didnt have to be sectioned, as the quarters pulled out VERY nicely, and i even have pictures, all it needed was tail lights, rear bumper and re-bar, and some interior plastics, all of which i had anyways. I took it for a drive today actually, and it drives soooo nice. Maybe you'll see it sitting at icbc one day, have a look at it, turned out quite nice imo.

92 Blazer RR door (no power, or i can switch everything over)
98 Jimmy RF headlight
98 Camaro cd changer
98 S10 2.2 relay center
Possibly 98 Sierra airbags?
most important thing is that blazer door.

In reference to DeVellis auto, who did you deal with? I have been friends with the owners for a few years now, and they are really great people. I'm surprised to hear this happened, and I would be really interested in knowing which salesman you dealt with? Marc (the owner) is an awesome guy, and his son is one of the most purely talented drivers on the continent :o

79 Z28: Do you follow open-wheel racing? It's a long story but I'll give you the short version...I race shifterkarts, I have raced against Alex Tagliani, Paul Tracy, Michael Valiante (Lynx Formula Atlantic), David Rutledge (Lynx), Memo Gidley (CART)etc, etc, etc. I have seen lots of drivers come and go, but Marc DeVellis, IMHO, given equal equipment, is a very gifted driver. If you have ever seen a top level karting event, you would know what I mean. He's also a really great guy off the track, so you'll understand if I get a little defensive when guys say F you to him and his family...Watch for him in Atlantic competition, and in a year or two, CART. Witness his podium finish in his second Atlantic race at Trois-Rivieres last year ;)
Cheers
