2005 Mustang Gt

ok, you know what, i honestly have to say i liked the look of the car but.....not as a muscle car, i just liked the look.

You can't really call it a Mustang cause i dunno, it's like its just totally new car that just came out.

So basically its a nice looking car but as far as a Mustang its not really stang...i wouldnt be intimated by it in the least as far as looks go.

I've spotted two of them out and about now. I think they look very Mustangish. Sort of a cross between the newer cobras and the old GT350s or something. Looks good! I'd almost consider buying one, but there's already too damn many mustangs on the road! I'm just gonna stick with my third gen.

Totally not worth it man, flog the 6, buy LT1/M6 car, have fun. You can usually find a nice one for around 10k, I'm sure you could get 6 or 7 for your V6...

Totally not worth it man, flog the 6, buy LT1/M6 car, have fun. You can usually find a nice one for around 10k, I'm sure you could get 6 or 7 for your V6...
problem is my car is in really good shape and a LT1 for 10k wont be any good compaired. plus mines only got 70k on it bought it at 59K 8) i got the diff already gonna put in a mans rearend 8.5", th350 high stall (got too), carbed gen III small block or a carbed LT1 for what i have invested into this car, and what i can do this for. id rather have mine done, plus customize it to my own liking for like 4K less and not have a car with 170k on it. the similarities of the 2 cars are too close. other then some drums on the back and softer springs and shock rates (better for drag actually), they are super similar.

computers can kiss my ass along with fuel injection, i have nothing but bad luck with that shit. :'(

the reason for auto is:

a) i already have the tranny and converter for the swap
b) 6 speed is alot of money!
c) i love automatics, stock is shit, like this gay 4L60 in here, but when they are race prepped they are good with converter especially!
d) cost
e) cost
f) car was origionally an auto so there would be alot to change
g) im going for the old school/new shcool approach. make it unique, thats why i prefer to find a gen III for it.
h) th350 i can build and redo for cheap anytime i want.


if i can find a 6 speed with all the stuff necessary to do ti id consider it, but this is the best way so far.

well it does save me putting all the clutch stuff in to boot, like pedal and linkage etc. shit like that is a pain lol ;D either way it will be good, it will have a 2.5-3 inch cowl on it too 8) ;D

and where was that test done? time corrected e.t.'s much. tower was prolly out. one time at mission i ran a 12.7 ::) but everyone was showing an avg of 2 tenths faster inc. some strict running bracket guys, so they had to fix the tower to get the proper times ;)

ok the new motor trend gave the GT a 5.1s 0-60 and 13.5-13.6 1/4mile which with 300hp is what it should be pulling off....about time the gaystang can pull off some good numbers in GT trim

but as for the 4.0L v6 model only putting out 210hp...thats sad...3.0L Accord Coupe puts out 240 :P
