You'll need the tranny, shift linkage, shifter, master and slave cylinders, clutch cable, clutch and brake pedal from the donor car....someone let me know what if anything Im missing...
It's a pretty straight foward swap if you are mechanically inclined

bellhousing too...and you might need a new starter depending on the pressure plate
also i think you need a different driveshaft.
the hardest part for me (switched from stick to auto) was wrenching up under the dash to get the pedal out...that was quite frustrating

If he is doing a TH700R4 to T5 swap, then no driveshaft change is needed. As far as I know, the starter for the auto should work for the T5.

if you get a world class t-5 used in the newer 3rd gens (88+ i think) they're rated for 330 ft lbs of torque

they also check it at the track...or atleast they're supposed to. ive only gone once and it was never checked...they looked at my car for maybe 2 minutes....peaked in the interior, rummaged around under the hood...asked how fast i was planning on going and i said probably low 15s so they let me go. no lookin under the car or anything
