Woo hoo.. ETA of the beast reviving is about 1 or 2 weeks from now!

Got the bottom end assembled.. hard part is over! now on to the other shit!

Specs -- >

3970010 4 bolt block, cemented w/ arp main bolts
scat cast "383" crank.
scat I beam rods.
speed pro flat top .060 over hyper eutectic pistons ( 10.5:1 @ 64cc )

Oh yeah there is also lots of assembly lube, arp lube and blood in there :)

Top end Specs ( for now )-- >
Performer RPM heads stock flow ( soon going for a 250 cfm port job )
Comp cam XE274H ( 230 / 234 , .487 / .490 ) looking to upgrade to a XE294HR ( 242 / 248 , .540, .562 ) or somethign similiar.

Holley 600 ( going to a 750 or so eventually )
Proform high output HEI distributor
Stewert water pump.
Stocker fuel pump :)
heddman 1 5/8" * 3" headers.

Yay cant wait to get the rest togehter :)

Uhhh that was my piston + an aircleaner stud. Stud won! yup.. uh huh.. boy howdy.

Grrrrrr nice toque eh duh huh duh huh :P

Why would anyone put an aircleaner stud into the combustion chamber? Were you trying to got the carbon out or something?

yeah it was a decent price. they just touched up the surface on the one head, and redid both valve seats in the bad chamber.
