Ive got a couple 305 TPis, if I were you id use the bottom end of the tpi and just put your intake on it.. that way I can sell it to you cheaper... if not I will have a TBI in next week. call me @ 604-339-8627
no 350 TBI's? also, is there any customization involed in using the bottom end of the tpi 305 with the intake from a 305 tbi?

the ports on the 305's TBI is like 1 7/8 i think the 350 TBI is 2" so the blades would catch on the intake, if u could machine a spacer to 2" and use a 350 TBI it should work fine, jsut make shure that the wiring is the same, some of the trucks used a different TPS and possably diffrernt IAC connections
thx chris...appreciate it....now to find some good ones...

All 265/305/350 TBI engines used the 1 7/8 TBI units. Only the 454 was a 2" unit.
There is no problem whatsoever bolting your TBI intake on a TPI long block. It would get rid of your crappy heads that way too.
I'm simply looking at transplanting this engine into my car, and selling (it is already for sale :P) Which o you think would perform better...a tpi 305 bottom end with the tbi intake, or the 350 tbi? Also, is it possible to put the tbi intake on a tpi 350 long block?

any bottom-end without the TBI "swirl port" heads would preform better, so either a long block from a 305 or 350 tpi would be much better.
Mike, any 350 TPI long blocks kicking about? ;D ;D

You'll need a ESC and 350 knock sensor to toss in that 350 and make it run right. You might just a bit lean with the 305 injectors on the 350...might want to grab a AFPR or 350 injectors.
