if its a 350 its an auto, no stick 350's stock
its a maf problem,
if the car runs bad your maf is most likely fucked,
unless its a short or something
if the car runs fine look to see if the maf is unhooked,
could also be a bad connection at the maf

try spraying some carb cleaner on the wires in the MAF, a dirty MAF is what usually sets the code

Yes, for not passing emissions and crumby gas mileage, you can't beat a carb. :D

There is another thing EFI has over a carb. I can tune EFI, MUCH faster and far more precisely than a carb. With "on-the-fly" tuning, I can actually tune the engine while the car is running on the dyno and dial in the max HP. I have yet to find anyone who can replace jets in the carb while the car is on the dyno and keep the engine running.

oh well lol, most guys that run and have their cars setup dont need to do all that tuning constantly that efi seem to do. unless i get a massive altatude change or going form 50 deg to 100 deg weather to race. i dont have to do jack once its set. and if so all i got to do is turn the car off, and adjust the jetting slightly, takes no time at all. and once i found my tune couple years ago, i ran it for the whole year and the car was consistantly within 1 tenth the whole year, day to night temp to temp. no biggie.
plugging a computer into a car to tune it is not my idea of fun. why would i spend 10,000 dollars on an fi setup for my car just to get 10x the frustrations, wiring, problems, tuning issues just to get 1hp more at a given rpm, or spend 3 dollars less in gas for a drive. keep in mind im not talking about stock setups here, where cars came with it already. once you get into high performance its too many issues for me to care for it. put a drag cam in a stock type fi setup and it wouldnt work and give you nightmares as far as the eye can see :noes: not to mention fixed rpm abilities of the intake :ugh:
