he said 425 for a trans but i got a quote for the synchros for 300 and new lining and everything so id be paying less and have a few new parts installed into the trans

i bet its 3 or 4 hours labour,
not including removing the tranny from the car

and your gears, bearings, main shaft and counter shaft are still old,
synchros are only a very small part of a trans

besides if you no how to shift you don't need synchros,

and to get it in to first just double clutch
