View Full Version : ENGINE SWAP - 89 s15 2.3L into an 80's chevette????

my 89 s15 got pulled over at an inspection zone, and its rusted to shit so i gotta get rid of her, or spend thousands bodywork. but i want to keep the motor because it was rescently rebuilt and runs solid. would a 2.3L fit in a 80's chevette? maybe clutch and transmission too?

You could probably pull of the swap, do you have any welding experience or fabbing or even engine swapping?
