Did your 81 come with a cat? I had full dual exhaust bent for my 71 by a place right across from canadian tire on kingsway for about $320 including mufflers. Not mandrel bent but they did nice work and finished the tips the way I wanted them.

my car is in bad condition right now but here is a link to it. I just bought it this summer so i been mostly working on the mechanics of it so it can at least drive. After i get my inspection done then i am getting body work done.

The place is called Apollo muffler at 2219 kingsway. The guy that did the work looked like he just rolled out of a ditch but I was very happy with his work. I was looking at the pictures of you car and I was just wondering if you HAVE to get it inspected? I'm not sure how stringent they are about rust holes these days but you might want to consider doing the body work before the inspection.
Also, I'm not sure of the level of your experience but I can tell you rust repair can get very expensive very fast. If you are planning to do the work yourself there are only 2 ways of doing it, the right way (very expensive & time consuming) and the "temporary driver way." Each method has its place and the method of choice should be decided based on a) Value of finished product b) love for the car.
I'm not trying to discourage you because If you really love the car there are ways of getting things done propperly and affordably over time. When I was 17 I had a 51 ford coupe, that didn't get finished because I simply didn't love the car enough to get it done even though if someone just told me to put some seats in it and drive the fucking thing I would have still enjoyed it.
Anyway I'm not sure if this makes any sense and I'm even making myself bored so good luck on the project and keep us posted! As a lover of 2nd gen fbodies I can tell you that you will enjoy the car once you get it on the road no matter what the level of resto you do!
