im argueing with some guy in another forum about this.

he claims spools are often outlawed at some tracks for not being safe.

is this true at all? ive never heard of it. As far as i know a spool is the cheapest, strongest, and lightest choice out there for linkin the tires together

I agree, unless this is some sort of strict street class that outlaws the use of spools, never heard of it myself.

Ive never heard of any track banning spools

Who would buy spools if tracks banned them? that's their primary use, since they're not very streetable

spools no, they are a great thing, mini spools are against NHRA rules though beyond a certian performance :dunno:

weld the spiders!

cant beat it bang for the buck. im going to weld my 2.41 7.5 in the wagon for my temporary setup if i dont buy the dana60 from 95t/a
