Yeah so i don't really need the throttle body, what i need is a throttle body with the TPS sensor still attached. I don't need the TPS either just one of the Aluminum TPS mounting screws with the washers. While i was trying to fix my Idle problem i was puttin the TPS back on n the head of the fucking aluminum screw twisted off at the threads.
SO...... if NE one has one gimme a shout, i already went to Mike's shop to see if he had one n he had one throttle body left but no TPS and no screws.I also tried some Chevy dealers but they dont have NE for sale as a single they want u to buy a fucking screw kit for like 60$ so fuck that.Auto wreckers don't seem to have what I'm looking for most r either sold or missin from people taking the Throttle body off.

I can't beleive that screw is so special. Have you tried taking one of the other screws out and going to a Hardware Store to find a similar thread/length?
Yeah, you got to be REAL careful with those aluminum parts. If they require a specific torque setting you really need to follow the specification. I use to own a number of motorcycles in the past, I learnt my lesson with aluminum the hard way also. If they don't have a torque setting, I just tighten them "snug" with the screwdriver or wrench.
Take care when you are tightening the bolts to your plenum and intake when you do your EGR tomorrow. The last thing you want to do is strip the threads in the plenum. Then you'll be looking at some extra machining you didn't plan on.

i'll just grab a metric machine screw for work, i'll use 1 off my car to compare, should have it, if not i have 3 different parts guys at my disposal :D

Sweet sounds good except for the fact that the screw is playing second fiddle to the fact that the EGR didn't solve ma fucking idle hell.Sooo as of now the screw is the least of my fucking worries. Hopefully its ma superchip i will remove it n see how my fucking pig runs. hopefully its the problem but i ain't holding my breath.

91, you do know that you DON'T adjust the TPS on SD cars don't you? The belief that you NEED to adjust the TPS so it gets close to 4.5 volts in WOT is BS. The TPS is completely self-adjusting by the ECM to covert the range of voltage to a percentage.
The only thing a higher voltage on the TPS does, is engage PE sooner - nothing else. To engage PE sooner, the proper way to do it is within the eprom. Drive up to Kamloops and I'll do it for you if you want PE to engage sooner.

i still don't understand how you can do that to a thirdgen unless you burn a chip
correct me if i'm wrong but:
eprom found in TPI cars- electronic programable read only memory, meaning can't hook up a laptop or a power programer and change
eeprom in LT1/LS1- erasable electronic programable read only memory, you can program with laptop or power programer
