$2500-$3000 every two weeks. Two of my buddies from work are heading up there for a year or two. Apparently the one they are going to is stationed at Coal Lake. They get to live on an army base which means room and food are covered so basically the money is all gravey. There are 2 other rigging companies up there too. Anyone know someone who has been up there? If so, good or bad experience?

Who: One of 3 or 4 Oilrig companies, dunno the names
Where: Northern Alberta
How: You need H2S training. I decided to pussy out and wait until two of my buddies get back so they can tell me if it's worth going next year. Heres the number for H2S 1-866-330-7233. Its a one day course and takes place at Burnaby BCIT. If you are really interested in it then go for it because what I'm giving you is just vague info. I gaurantee all your questions will be answered by either other people who are getting H2S trained or by the teacher.
