What would a 79 z28 have in it for a manual tranny? I am thinking as buying one as a parts car, but it's in grass with four flats and I don't feel like crawling under to check.

What years and models of GM had the super T-10 available? Does anyone out there have one for sale, even if it needs a rebuild?. Have a T-10 but would like to upgrade it to a Super T-10 for my 83 Firebird road race car.

Does anyone know a tranny rebuilder/seller by the name of Ron who I believe is in Richmond? I have misplaced his ph #

Thanks.

Whats the cheapest tranny that will hold 500ft lbs? I'm assuming start with a th-400?

What about a 700-r4 for overdrive, how much money and what needs to be done to hold that kind of power?

iroc22
03-23-2006, 12:28 AM
It should be able to support those numbers in stock form, just get a 88-92 tranny and upgrade the TC
