first time racing

my first time racing at mission

1st run- 14.2@98.2 mph
2nd run- 14.1@97.1 mph
3rd run- 14.0@98.4 mph
i probaly could have got into 13's but i dont know how to race properly.

any advice or suggestions on racing an automatic would be much appreciated ;)

Not bad at all you should post all of the info on your time slip though then its much easier to give suggestions on what you need to work on

leave it in 2nd for launch. computer will shift at peak then, then all you gotta do is the 2-3 shift. will result in best times, and quickest shifts. its the way the computers work on those trannies 8)

trying not flooring it off the line lol, roll past the lights at about 1/2 throttle then nail it once your moving.
