heheh hey i am having problems...

no no for some reason the back passenger side floor is wet when i drive in the rain. I have taken it through a car wash to see if i can find any leaks. there are none. i have asked other people about this and they cant figure it out. i know for a fct theres no way water is getting in from the ragtop. I even found a huge puddle of water every now and then (about 1.5L of water) on a nice dry day when the carpet was dry i put the dry floor mat back on top and the next day it rained i checked on it after driding all day and i notice only the bottom was wet adn the matress wasnt wet at all....

anyways, wondering if anyoen can figure out where this waters coming from. i asked a good friend of mine who is a detailer and says there are holes under neeth for the water to drain (drain holes) and i made sure they were plugged up..

do anyone know where there could be commmon leaks are on these thirdgens? maybe mike have u had this problem evver?

so ure saying that if it rains and the car is parked it doesnt leak? I would think its coming up from under the car... maybe not through the drainholes.. but when you are driving the pressure from the water lets say from behind the tire... the white 88I have at my shop has the same problem, havent figured it out yet.

my car leaks in the rain/ wet too and I replaced every piece of weather stripping in the whole car. Finally I found a really simple solution, it only leaves the garage on hot sunny days. Its worked for 2 years now so far ;)

its simply a slow leak from sitting in the rain... unlike a car wash where u just blow the water away right away rain just soaks in and probably slowely leaks in the wee hours of the morning...

thats my theory...

Elton have you ever checked rear of the top where it goes into what would be the hatch on the coupes. I do not know how the top is stowed behind the rear seats. Maybe somehow the rain water is geting in that way. Behind the rear seats is the sheet metal which could direct the water to the floor. Maybe someone who has a rag top can describe it better than me. If this makes sense.
