Replacing some stuff on the LT1 before it goes in, I figure oil pump is a good one.
Which is better Milodon or Mellings?
Or do you have one that is better then both?
Both units above I was thinking the Race version of Mellings and the high flow of Milodon

bled wasted money. Keep the stock one. it really won't help you much. But if you must.... get a mellings. I run a M55HV pump and its great.

Well with 100K miles and the engine on a stand I figured it was cheap easy and something not to worry about when it is done, the only question a buddy brough up is will a race high flow high volume pump dry the pan if it is the stock pan?

I was warned that a high volume pump with stock pan may dry up the pan when i has building my first motor. I just went with a stock replacement meling pump and high pressure spring, worked fine for me.
