Hi All

Been reading the site for a few months now, and after running into nin97 today i thought i should at least say hello

Its been a sweet year since getting it last year, you cant beat driving down the California coast in a vert :D, or anywhere when the suns out.

well i do know someone who works there actually...but i was asking cause im pretty sure (welll almost positive) im the guy you bought your car off :) (unless there's another brit at EA who drives a green 95 vert :D)

...sounds like you've been getting some good use out of her, glad she went to a good home...starting to miss the ol' convertible top now that the weather has gotten hot finally

as you can see i've rejoined the trans am family....even though my original plan was to buy something a little more economical i found a once in a lifetime deal on this 2000 and couldnt pass it up...what can i say, v8's have me hooked i guess

but glad you're enjoying the car and according to Nin it sounds like you've taken good care of her...

looks like there is a meet next month, you should bring the car out

cheers :)

yeah chances of two brits at ea with t/a verts are pretty slim ;)

done a couple of long runs in her so far drove down to northan California and also over to Calgary (though almost gave myself sunstoke in the rockies :noes:)

bit of downer last november when it started leaking coolant from one of the heads, oh and a couple o2 for aircare :( but its all sorted now, and the good weathers back(well almost)

saw your new ride on your web site real nice dont blame you giving up on someting economical for that, just wondered where it was when i was looking at the vert ;)

by the way did it come with those rims or did you buy them and if so how much and where as i'm thinking new rims for the vert :fingersx:

cant make the meet though family in town, oh well here's to the next one :fingersx:

sorry to hear about the problems...but we've all been there...comes with owning American crap :sanchez: ...just be thankful the optispark and clutch were replaced on that car not all that long before i sold it

my new car was kept at the lot until i sold the vert, couldn't insure two cars at once...then took a couple pics of them together which is what's on the site and then kept it at my neighbors...i wasn't trying to be sneaky, just didnt want people looking at the vert to see my new car right next to it...kinda seemed inappropriate

my wheels are aftermarket and came from a california company - http://www.afswheels.com - but check out Ebay, thats how i got them...u can get good deals...and i definately say upgrade the tires to 275's, you'll notice a nice improvement in the grip/handling...

anyways, glad you've kept the car in good shape and hope you've enjoyed it...i'll be selling my current ride sometime in the next year if you're interested :D
