I'm having ALOT of trouble with "security" coming on and not letting me start my car >:(
I hope this will fix it.

maybe the vats sensor in the ign cylinder is starting to fail. or maybe the vats chip in the key isnt working right but i doubt that. fix it your self and bypass it with a resistor IF that is the problem.

Do you have a link on how to do the bypass? I have heard of this before.

read the resistance of your key with a multimeter, then get a matching resistor with the same reading. drop down your steering column look for the two VERY small wires (usually wrapped in an orange plastic) that come from the lock cylinder, there should be a plug down toward the end of the column, unplug that and jam the resistor in there. If it works and that is the problem then you may want to fix it correctly one day if budget allows........
