Not much it can be. Rings, probably. Unless you pooched a piston, but then it would run like a big bag of shit.

I had that problem once before ........turned out to be the fuel pump the diaphram was leaking into the oil ratther than out the breather hole on the side .....i hope that helps

must be it though, theres no way that much fuel can get into the oil and it not run like shit

we are gonna pull the carb off and clean it up and see if there is any problems with the carb alone.

could be, but then gas would be coming out of the vent tube. check it
