anyone here with one mod it at all? put a shift kit in it etc? and is there a way to power program the car and then change shifts etc.?

a 4L60E is basicly an electronicly controlled 700R4
you can easily change shift points and firmness with a power programer or any tunning software

I think with OBD you could do it through the aldl connector and a laptop with a program like LT1edit or winaldl
But Ive never done it so...

i rebuilt mine ( 2800 stall, all new powerbands, stage 2 shift kit etc) y would you want to change shift points? mine shifts at 6200 rpm with the tranny perfom button on

i dont have a tranny perform button.

B&M sells a box that connects to the wiring harness just before the pcm. It boosts line pressure to WOT pressure at part throttle shifts. I had one in my 94 and I think it was aroung $50. I blew up many 4l60es in my 94 and would never go back to one...and my car was stock. Just my .02

my car is v6 :gay: and a 4l60e is a 700r4 with a cpu on the side, its not that bad
