Canada engines is pleh. They rebuilt my mustang's 302. I got it rebuilt to stock specs, so I can't judge their performance rebuilds. I haven't had any problems with the engine. I doubt they put as much time and effort into their rebuilds as other shops in the lower mainland due to the high volume of engines they rebuild per day.

for a mild engine id go to someone private that knows what they're doing.* MBog on bcgbody could probably do it for you.

For a serious power engine id go with experience.* 10 HP makes a huge difference with those engines, the tricks and tips that the experienced engine builders use are what wins races.

there is so much to do, more like 30hp hidden easy. i read this article on a spec motor for circle track racing, all the tricks and friction removers etc. amazing power out of a 355 and cast vortec race heads, 630hp :|

my first one i had, was built by a guy we know, reg. he isnt a shop, just a backyard guru, hes got a flowbench and stuff. he built it pretty good. lasted 4 years of everything i could throw at it. was a budget build too, 3500 for the motor, most new parts. and this new fancy one i got was built by precision valve and crank in north van. yet to be tested :fingersx:

I do deliveries to Prec Valve and Crank. All those guys are REALLY nice and went threw all sorts of junk with me on how I COULD get some extra HP out my truck.

Also quoted me a SWEET price for an engine rebuild which I'm still considering.

they are my guys now. whenever i need a motor built it will most likely be them  unless this one fails miserably :fingersx:
