i got a cv joint out of an auto 87 prelude to put in my 5-speed 85 prelude, it all fit in but now the car does fucking weird things like not roll in neutral, and the little bit it moves forward it wont let the motor turn over like its in gear, and then when you push it a bit back it turns freely. when i tried to drive it it goes a little and seems like it gets stuck on something then stalls, i dont know if the tranny got fucked when the cv blew or if the cv is wrong, anyone?

ok, first off, is it carb motor or fi motor? are you sure the cv you got was from an 87 auto? and was it right or left side?

fist of all if you put in a half-shaft for an 87 into an 85 you'll have problems, because in 87 they changed the tranny's :ohboy:

no i didnt put in the half shaft i put in the long one, and i lined them up and they looked identical, when i took it out i saw there was like 2 mm difference

2mm can be alot, especialy in a honda

it runs
not great but not bad
has oil leaks, not major but they're there
was my Grandmas car, I drove it a 1 winter
it is auto, or I would probably keep it
has no aircare but passes easily
