so yes as the title says ive found a way to beat the system...look for RPO's:
A01-WINDOW, TINTED, ALL SHADED, W/S
A02-WINDOW, TINTED, SHADED UPPER
A04-WINDOW, TINTED, RR SIDE, RR
A11-WINDOW, TINTED, ALL
all u would have to show in court is get a letter from gm verifying your car has the code..A02,A04 probly wont work...A01 could probly work...and theres no way in hell A11 wont work...it also wouldnt work if it looked after market..so get tinted glass also known as "privacy glass"
u could also call it privacy glass in court cause have biz papers in there or somthing
am i right?

The grades should be AS-1, AS-10 and AS-14 for a windshield and AS-1, AS-2, AS-10 or AS-11 for side windows.

personally I belive that 50% of people an the road shouldn't be driving,
more people should fail there road test,
its funny you drive down the road and half the people only see whats directly infront of them

There are lots of drivers on the highways of BC that could use a tune up of their driving skills. I tried to start a "trade your ticket for driver training" scheme because I honestly believe that many drivers could benefit from it. Unfortunately, the powers that be in the provincial government turned thumbs down on it.
I actually said what the heck and tried it with one driver (about age 45) who was pretty hostile at the roadside. He took me up on it and I followed up with him and the driving school to see what he learned. He was not shoulder checking properly on lane changes, stopping in the correct place at stop signs and turning into the correct lane at intersections.
I figure learning those 3 things beat the heck out of collecting $138 for a speeding ticket any day.
Don't lose sight of the fact that some traffic cops have a lot more on their minds than just writing tickets.

I WISH someone would actually start something like this. It's amazing how many idiots I run into on my 15k journey to work. I get cut off, highbeamed and all the such daily.
I get highbeamed for passing people, WTF is up with that.

California is the one that I am aware of:
http://www.dmv.org/ca-california/traffic-schools.php
but I am fairly sure there are a few other states that do it.

No traffic cops suck....I just got a $600 ticket yesterday and ok I deserved the speeding part of it...but he gave me a ticket for not having my N on my rent a car and not having my glasses on .......they were both in my car that had just been stolen!!!!! ....and I told him this with tears in my eyes and he was still an asshole about it.

Hmm, the licencing authorities have determined that your eyesight is not good enough to drive without wearing glasses, hence the restriction on your licence.
You are driving without glasses on. I "see" a problem here. 80% of the information that you need to drive with comes through your eyes. Kind of important, isn't it??
I must be even worse, because when I found this, if there wasn't another driver available, that was the end of the trip then and there. I would make arrangements for someone to bring the glasses or pick up the driver, but otherwise you were parked.

No the lady at the DMV gave me the choice...she's like "would you like to take the test with your glasses on since you have them here?" and I was like "does it matter?" and she replied "no not really"
so I took the test with my glasses on....I don't need them to drive.....the cop immidiately goes...."what are the numbers on that house across the street?" and WITHOUT hesitation I give him the correct numbers....he kinda nodded and walked away
and that stupid lady I could kill her, b/c sure enuff now on the back of my license is "requires glasses to operate vehicle" or some crap like that

So, go back to the Driver Service Center and see what you can do about having the restriction removed. There is a process for this and if you are successful, no more problems.
