I'm 22,

I went to school for 2 years graded top of the class in both courses I took, 1 course was deisel engine electronics technician

then I got a job, they realized how good I was where I work, started putting me on big jobs and gave me a $9 an hour raise in the first 6 months, been there for 2 years and journeyman that have been wrenching for 20-30 years come ask me for help

but I've done all the work on my cars and alot of work on friends and parents cars since I was 16, rebuilt my first dirt bike motor when I was 10,
so its safe to say wrenching comes pretty easy to me,

I wouldn't say I make all that much money but I live in my parents basement rent free so it increases my cash flow

yeah working 60+ hours a week, then the governmet takes half, its not uncommon for me to see $800 or more in deductions off my check

plus you got to remember 2 years of schooling ain't free

this year not looking so good over time was cut back and they hired more mechanics

plus I spend money like its gonna rott

Had any experience using those digital lights with a ignition box like msd? I thought I read they don't work with them.

Thanks that sparked my intrest so I looked on MSD sites and found a posting by there tech:

"Make sure that you use a standard analog timing light. Do not use digital or dial-back lights which do not work correctly with CD type ignitions like the MSD. They can pick up interference and show inacurate timing readings. "
