Hey guys was wondering if anybody knows of any legal problems with using summer performance tires during winter/fall/spring? (Apart from the obvious crappiness of driving in the winter) Maybe a stupid question, but I heard there would be some legal issues with a summer-shod vehicle in non summer-time...Anybody know for sure?

na if its not mud and snow rated, then its "illegal" for e.g. you cannot drive a M/T e.t. street in rain or snow or mud lol ;D

I have summer preformance tires on. but my car does move on the ice anyway so i would sugest snow or all season if u don't want to hit something

Ya, I know they suck in the ice/snow, but thats what the beater is for:) The camaro only plays in the nice or the wet weather...I also generally try to keep it out of the mud, legal concerns not withstanding ;) And hey TA88GTA, if you got some high performance z-rated all seasons, I'd consider making a swap...
