ouch....have to think about it. Thats a bit much. Whats "complete"? ECM, wiring and tranny?? Do you have year car and mileage (kilometer-age)? For that price I may just settle on putting the stroker crank in and calling it a day. I've got 2.8's galore so it would be no big deal.
How bad do you want to get rid of it?

no tranny, its separate. complete motor is intake to pan. its out of a 95 camaro, mileage is 130,000kms ( just over 80K miles) were an auto wrecker, the last one we sold it was for $1250.00 CDN just motor, thats what there worth, cant do any more on the price. plus we dont ship to the states, freight would be a bit extra :-\ sorry, thats the best i can do

Well, I don't have that much at the moment so I guess I'll have to pass. Where are you located?

If your going to the trouble of droping an 3.4 liter in why not drop a small block tpi? Or at least a 3.8L or 4.3L.

Because it bolts in.
Way easier to swap than the engine, tranny, fuel management, mounts, radiator, linkages, yaddy yaddy.

we are located in surrey b.c. Al's Auto Wrecking LTD. 12123-103A Ave. phone # (604)584-5222 im sure we'll still have something if you decide on it. we have 2 3.4L right now out of camaros. a word of advise though, those 3.4L motors arent that good, they are problem bound, a 3.8L is 10 times more reliable and stronger. we sell the 3.4L all the time (camaro/firebird) the regular 3.4L in impalas, grand ams etc. those are different, they are a much better design totally different motor. but 2.8L are weary motors also so its still an upgrade, with alot more power ;D
just a question, does washington state have any auto wreckers there? theres about 30 at least in the lower mainland alone here in B.C. :o

Ya, we got wreckers. We have wholesale auto and gundies here in bellingham, but they are VERY expensive. If I want a deal, I have to drive down south past Everette. For example: Gundies wants $450 for an s10 axle. I got the same axle in Bremerton for $150.
So I drive down south over an hour, or drive up there. Plus it gives me an excuse to drive up there so I can hang out with you guys. ;D

Ya no kidding! I was there with Rich when the chillawack yard had its $50 all you can carry! We ended up putting a bunch of stuff on a bench seat that I had to carry across the yard and then they made me walk the 3 meters to prove it! Are they doing that anytime soon again??
