on 91 or 92 Z28s with a NON-cable driven speedo how do you compensate for rear end gear ratio? Im going from 3.23s to 3.73s and want to keep the speedo accurate.

change speedo gear in the trans,

where your speedo plugs into the side of the tranny,
take out the 10mm bolt,
slide the whole assembly out,
the is a gear on it change that to the right 1,
the gear is like $10

i still never got around to that, poor 79 gets 30% more mileage then true when i drive lol, maybe ill compensate by leaving it unplugged now :D

heyyy dude i never thought of that...depending how long ive had the gears changed...my milage could be a LOT less eh..

well mine was about 20kph out, and every time i took it to the track thats 2.5-3hrs alone in transport round trip so it does add up

well mines a lot more off, like itll tell me im goin 200kph wen im goin 150-160.

that what my car was tellin me right up untill i changed the tranny to a manual...now i have no speedo... i need to get the fucker hooked up
