View Full Version : putting 8.5 10 bolt in 3rd gen info needed
i want to put the bigger 10 bolt in my car scattered auburn (junk) posi unit does anyone know of a shop or person who could make torque arm bracket for rear any help appreciated thanks

really, its alot of work to get that fabricated, has to be strong, not warp the housing and the geometry has to be mint. plus the wheel base is different in 8.5's :)

buy a 9 bolt
they say they can handle a big block as long as your not running slicks
I'm running 1, very impressed with it,
it uses cone posi, works very well, side ways left and right no problem

yes..i too am running a 9 bolt...very sexy and the posi is killer...my ten bolt would drift left turns but 1 tire fire around right turns...but the 9 bolt will drift both perfectly...way awesome...plus it seems to be able to stand up to ALOT more abuse then the 10 blt

power slide and drifts are different....
you powerslide to optimize track time
a drift is when your fuckin around and playing with traction...
