ok, mainly im posting here cuz i trust your opinions over the thirdgen board.. all they do is bug me for trying to change my car... anyways, i have a digital dash right now, its all fine and dandy, but i would prefer an analog dash. does anyone know if its an easy switch, and what is involved?

Thanks for any help i can get.

Im not sure, but im assuming ud have to change all the wiring harness from the dash etc.... plus ure dash has a big control module under the hood doesnt it?

This is where I would maybe search for the info on TGO as lots of people have done it, then come back where with that info and most of the people here can help you without jumping up and down saying your ruining your car etc etc. (course the guys with GNX's and TTA don't really car what others say when they mod now do they :D ) (keep it original .... ya that's like saying don't ever drive that car because its to rare .... damnit if you ain't gonna drive it sell it and by a painting instead.)

ok done ranting, ill check TGO, for any info, but it is either like mike said a small pain (but im sure he has all the parts :D ) or it is plug and play.

Ok Found out more Mike is right, wiring harness + cluster + new senders and so on for switching from Digital to Analog

But you could sell your digital if you wanted with the whole thing for some good coin, I read on TGO that one kid paid $400 US for his digital cluster.

Not bad would cover the cost of all your senders sensors harness cluster and possibly beer to hire someone to do it for you :)

ok little more research some say a whole new dash .... that would have to be seen from one car to the other to see if it is true, but they say two words PITA and DonorCar.

well i pretty much have a new dash to work with, and im planning on selling this one with everything i dont need from it.. sounds like i could get some decent coin for changing my car to the way i want it :) i like that theory. i searched for a bit on TGO but no one seems to actually explain how to do it, they just rant about why you wouldnt do it. stupid tgo.. no offence. well im gonna look at my car closer and see where everything from the digital dash goes, and what i actually need from it all. also, does anyone know where i can order white back (hopefully reverse glow) gauges that are in kph not mph? ive been searching like mad, but no such luck so far. oh and one more thing.. most of what i can find goes up to 140mph/220kph, the current one is a smaller scale. is there a way to mod this to work with the higher one or should i be looking for one thats the same as mine?

you should get it all to match, piecing things around won't work right or would be hard to get it working.

Good that you have everything to go, should make it easier and no worries on TGO, none of us are married to it!!!

There are alot of people who bitch about keeping your 1 of 90,000 cars original cause one day blah blah blah, maybe someone should jump on the TTA owners first??? but you do what your happy with.

Good luck with the swap. shouldn't be to hard worst case you remove the entire dash and put one in from an analog car (couldn't be to bad ask Steve :D )
