tranny "weirdness"

hey guys....sometimes when im stopped and i wanna put it into first or out of reverse i gotta push pretty hard but oce i get it into first it slides back in no problem....is this normal?

Check ur tranny fluid and yes he a has a MANUAL.

totaly normal...just cause your syncro's are all lining up...sumtimes you have to try a few times..no big deal... its worse on some tranny's vs. others....but do check your tranny oil level for good measure

I noticed this symptom too when my clutch master and slave grenaded. Check the reservoir too make sure you have fluid.

If when i start the car, i cant put it into first without pushing hard, i just put it in reverse first then first and its fine.
works every time.

im going to say check your master/slave sytem...sounds like your clutch isnt releasing quite as much as it should...if the clutch is rubbign on the flywheel it will make that happen even if it is JUUUUST a little bit
