i didnt end up buyin brakes, the full kits started at 1200. for rotors they had Proslot....and then Hawk for pads, i hadnt heard of either so didnt order them, thought it might be better to get some through IROCNparts? watcha think? did order a B&M shifter and picked up some other things though, pretty cool store.

don't bother with Mike for those. He only deals with wrecked cars. Why risk buying used stuff for such a VITAL part?

PS - powerslot AND hawks are both GREAT brake parts.

o ok, well then...

id be getting powerslot (obviously slotted) rotors and then hawk pads for abt 270 bucks plus tax. they dont have calipers so i'd be staying with stock calipers. is that alright or do i have options to upgrade them?

you COULD upgrade to 1le player dual piston calipers, but it's really not worth it. your brakes will be fine with hawk pads and cross drileld and slotted rotors.

My cross and slotteds gotta be warm. Once they are warm they grab like a mother fucker.

thyre not drilled, just slotted. i thought about 1LE calipers, i would have to get those used right?

no, pick a year.. go to lordco.. buy THOSE years (make sure they ARE dual piston calipers before buying) then install. Not sure how hard a install would be tho.

alright, ill stick with stock for a while, then decide after a month or sumthin. another question, mopac said it would be a 4 week wait, or more like 2 weeks if i paid 40 bucks extra for shipping. also told me that if i went anywhere else (lordco or wakefield) itd be the same since they just order through mopac. do i have any alternative?

Ebay, take you a couple days depending on the border. But it's true story about Lordgay getting stuff from mopac. Every performance piece Lordgay has goes from mopac first.

No.

Spend the monies and buy something worthwhile. Those aren't treated and will crack, causing you more money then it's worth. Buy something right ONCE. Don't buy shit 2ce because you end up spending more monies.

Dizzle

Yes. But you'll want to check them over once in a while to make sure they aren't cracking. Like actually remove the wheel and spin and examin the front and back.
