well these are the 3 cams to choose from, all solid flat tappet cams. my combo is gonna be a 355 sbc, victor jr. intake 750cfm double pumper, AFR 210cc heads, fully forged internals, 11.1:1 compression, roller rockers 1.6, 10" 3800 stall converter, 4.10's with 28x10.5 tires, drag suspension, nos eventually, th400 tranny 2.48/1.48/1 gears. thats about all thats realivent. and gas mileage doesnt matter to me lol

i think im set on the third one but any input will be apprieciated ;D

If your going to go 11.5:1 and have to run race gas then you might as well go 12-12.5:1 honestly since you will still run the same gas and you will get more horsepower out of it. I never liked 11.5:1 for that reason.

I think personally I would rather have the 195 competion heads then the 210 race heads on a 350. Maybe if you have a 400 bored out I would choose the 210's. Personally think there too big for a 350.

Did you call the cam manufacturers? what cam did they all recommend. I would call them all and compare what each one says.

Also if you going to get a 750 carb don't waste your time with the double pumper. Buy a 750HP holley.

no no im gonna be running 11:1 compression, with 94 octane, AFR reccomends those heads for my combo, 350-400 cid 3000-7500 operating range, and they flow exellent. the 750cfm carb is the same as the one ive always had, its modded ;D double pump owns anyways, plus with the bigger cam i picked (#3) and 11.1:1 on 94 gas the overlap will bleed off enough compression so its good on pump gas, i already ran the dynamic compression calculator, remember that thing, its all in optimal perameters. ;D

LOL oh ya i forgot to meantion the cam is for heavy too. besides it isnt that heavy lol when im done, aluminum heads, etc, car should only be around 3350 lbs and im gonna be running a stall of 3800 at least, so it will be high, and the 4.10's on a small tire 28x10.5 ;D

I talked to AFR and they said that 210's would be fine for my motor cause I rev to 7200 rpm. its a 355.

Im running a 12.5 to 1 comp ratio, and I am running a Crane 308 s cam seems to have better numbers than what those are. I wouldnt want a powerband that started a 4000 rpm without a roller. it won't be a wide enough powerband IMO.

ya, crane rates their cams totally different then what comp does, if you look at cam specs there isnt much else to change, the identical cam bu comp will have different settings then crane. crane is set to what 100% best would be, and comp it seems is the minumun what will work decently. the cam will be fine, and will still perform exellent outside its max potential range.

p.s. whats the details on your motor? parts etc.
