yep should be able to put them right up as it sits inside the back of the seat. tonight i was tinkering on it. and came up witha good idea on how I will cut the carpet from the backseat cover...I was initially going to have it folded into the box and under the lip so plexiglass would go into that routered out lip.... but then.... I made a new top part out of 2 piece of mdf, one for the plexiglass to sit on, then the other to go around it. so baiscally just liek what i had with plywood but mdf. anyways I was test fitting it onto the backseat plastic for flushness. and it was being a pain. so then I figured hmm..... took off the top mdf piece(about 1/4" each) and basically had plexiglass being the highest point now... well because the plastic is about as thick as the plexiglass they almost sit flush with one another. the plastic isn't cut exactly to the plexiglass, wavy as it wasn't supposed to be seen, then I figured I will put the cover back on. then cut out the carpet, and have the carpet actually just go OVER the plexiglas about 1/2" all the way around, making it look like a very nice clean install. nice clean lines. just figuring whats the best way to make straight lines with cutting carpet. I trust my hand cordination. but wondering about frayed carpet .... of there is a way to make the cut look nice.

after initially cutting the carpet just going along it once with some sharp scissors and take off the fuzz. works for me
