TPI 305 complete with wiring harness and comuter with 5spd prom. This motor ran high 13's in my camaro. It has 120,000 kms on it and is the original motor in my car. Has always been run on synthetic fluids and way over maintained. This engine includes a Holley FP reg ($110), crane gold race 1.6 rockers ($500), the upper plenum has been ported and the runners have been port matched and polished both inside and out.

way to dig up an OLD topic,
Holy shit!
he has a tpi 305 that runs in the 13's for sale? HOW MUCH
High 13's in NOT hard to do at all... in a 305 TPI.
Speaking of which.. we do have a full 305 TPI long block that's sitting around.. if you wanna run in the high 13's, I believe that we've discussed this quite in depth before.

how much for long block?
Zion: a 305 TPI to run high 13's wouldn't be that much harder.. believe me. Mind you, we're talking high 13's... obviously, if you wanna really start going faster, then the 305 will slowly start to show its limitations.
Tektrikz: we don't have a 305 longblock... I should've reworded myself properly and said that it's a 305 complete.

I'm sure that high 13's was with the nitrous :)
I've seen personally an 89 R7U car with ONLY K&N drop ins, 3" cat-free exhaust, a jacobs coil and suspension mods run 14.6 at Mission. Oh yeah.. full interior on street tires (not drag radials) with 16" rims.
If you do it intelligently, to break into the 13.9x is definately doable on a 305 TPI.
Obviously not all of it is going to come from HP... 3.73 gears, proper suspension setup, good tires, poly mounts, weight loss, advanced timing, etc... all of that can definately knock a bit off.
Oh yeah.. and a damn good driver.

so... what your saying is... that im going to get high 16's? :'(
