So im just looking into this right now. Wondering what the average prices are for these kits, then how much for an install. And also how they look on 4th Gens. What do you prefer, sportline or prokit? Thanks.

i've been looking at them a lot too. what has everyone on here paid for theres? the 1 inch drop with pro-kit doesn't seem like much to me, but i know i have seen a few lt1's that were over lowered and looked pretty stupid.

could we get a group buy going like the 3rd gen'ers have? i don't know how you people go about organizing one of those either.

the spring rates for eibachs are fairly soft.

if i were to start from fresh i would have went ground control coilovers.

heres a thread for all the spring rates and ride heihts

I just went to national tire wholesale and they want 269 for pro-kits (on sale) and 4something for sportlines...what's up with that? do you a connection there or something?

there shouldn't be a price difference between prokit and sportline

I got my pro-kit from National Tire and it came to right around $300 including tax, when I went to Mopac wanted $330 plus tax. I tried a couple of other places and even tried to see what I could get it out of the states for and nobody could come close to that price but this was 1 1/5 years ago.
Personally I wouldnt go with more than the 1.5 in drop that the Pro-Kit gives you, I have ground clearence issues all the time with mine. I couldnt even imagine what it would be like if it was any lower. And like Amit said, if I could do it again I would have gone with the ground control kit.

Do the install yourself, its not as hard as you think it is. Just take your time and be patient and also do your homewwork. Here is a good guide.

i ahve the sport lines i fuckin'LOVE them get complements all the time :) they are really soft though, also i ahve oryp and as&m headers no clearence issues unless your going over larger speed bumps or getting out of underground parking...thats the killer oh and sportlines should only be about 50 bucks more expensive, and do your shocks while your at it...the stock decarbons are absolute CRAP

Went and got a set of the Eibach Pro-Kit from w.tire.warehouse also-$262 + tax = $299.65---what is a good--but not too expensive shock and where to get them...Bilstein's and Edelbrocks IAS shocks are $250 each most places..I am not autocrossing so a perfect ride does not matter...I actually have the Monroe Sensatracs on the front and they sure are comfy... I have been told not to put the springs on these..but they are only 10,000 km old....what do you guys think..???.
