the "C" designation is for the chassis that was used in each generation C4 was from 1983-1996 C5 1997-2004 C3 is the stingray style body etc ;D

backspacing is wrong, but you can make em fit with spacers

Nows your chance to own a C4 for the price of a thirdgen. car is very reliable and has no problems, has 100000miles on it, very tight, no sqeaks or rattles.
