They stopped making camaros for 2 reasons:

1.they are junk, and the interior rattles
2.Mustangs outsell them 3:1

Hope you get your car running right soon, I am going to need a beater for the winter ;)

last time i checked a mustang interior was pretty crappy, especially the older ones. LS1 camaros own all, they discontinued it to be more fair ;D

chevy didnt wana keep putting the stangs to shame, the stangs havent been faster since 93 , besides, the interiors dont rattle, there quite nice. but they did over price them selves, but look at a new stang fords time is comming!

actually the real reason why they stopped making the camaros is because the demand is now in trucks from chevrolet, so now they are producing more trucks....just a fact that i thought you guys may be interested in knowing ;)

The mustangs didn't outsell F-bodies til the 4th gen camaro. The only reason the mustang survives today is because of the V6 sales. The mustang V6 outsold the camaro by a lot (I guess a lot of the girls like the girly look of the mustang :-*). I bet if you compared the amount of GT's and Z28's on the road, it would be the same.

i think both cars are quite the same in most aspects, thats why its such a close rivalry 8) both have their own pros and cons, to each their own. id like to have both :)

Imo its coz fbodies (especially later firechickens) are damn expensive and didnt really have a market for the average joe... stangs in comparison are more affordable,and yes more girls drive em hahahahahahahahaha... :P

I have yet to meet a chick who drives a 4th gen firebird tho... ;D 8)
