Why not pick up a much more common poncho 400? And if you want a 455, why not just turn the 400 into a 455? Eagle Cranks are pretty cheap, you can get 4340 rods pretty cheap as well as KB pistons

CI / BORE / STROKE
400 / 4.12000 / 3.7500
455 / 4.15000 / 4.2100

Good website on Poncho's

http://www.teufert.net/pontiac/page2.htm

Found BOREXSTROKE info, Casting numbers, what engine and code of engine (power info) came in what car in what year.

So on and so on.

But the above statement over bore a 400 by 30 and stroke it, and you have a 455.

He was looking for a Poncho motor, but I guess if he was going for cubes that is good too.

Personally I would look for a Buick 455

I like bigger bore to stroke ratios
