Well we take the 2000 Dakota R/T 5.9L in for a regular oil change ((yes we know we could have done it but this way we can have legit records for the aftermarket warranty)) and the truck was running absolutely mint. I get a call this morning at work by their service manager telling me they contacted the warranty company regarding a coolant leak. I was like WTF but thanks. Then he tells me one of the frost plugs is leaking and that the rest are showing signs they will too. He said they were rusting from the inside out??!! He said he could tell by looking so I called bullshit amd he tells me the warranty company has declined the repair and that the motor has to come out to replace all the plugs. Sp I call the warranty company and want them to send a guy down to look. Buddy says no way but cant tell me how the shops tech. could tell they were rusted internally??!! The truck went through an inspection at the dealership 2 months ago, had its second coolant flush a month ago and now this on a truck with 60k kms. So Im freaking at the warranty company and I tell them Im gonna pop out a plug and show them theres no rust and then force " FRANK " to agree to pay for the repairs if theres no rust. Anyways I want to know why they missed these leaks the 3 previous times the truck was there? I tell the dealer to leve the truck alone and Ill pick it up. I get to the dealer and they mention that the plug drips etc. My girlfriend drives away and I follow in the Z. We were taking it to another dealer ((her moms friends the service manager)) when I see coolant pouring out the bottom of the truck like a garden hose. I pay the $72 tow bill and am fucking pissed off. You gotta understand that this truck goes in for an oil change with 0 leaks of any kind and leaves pissing coolant. I look under the truck and can see it running down the drivers side of the block near the front. I got this feeling ((found out this dealer are crooks from a few people but too late)) they tampered with the plugs thinking the warranty company would pay so they could get a huge job at a slow dealer. I think they pulled a plug saw it was rusty, claim got denied and they tried to put it back in .....hence my massive coolant leak :( >:( >:( So if it turns out they "DID" tamper with them then they are fucked. I will report to the BBB and also speak to a lawyer regarding legal action. Maybe its just a bizare coincedance but man.....thats pretty weird. Anyways "DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM WARN EVERYONE!!!!"
