to be honest, 'cuz I've been too obsessed with it. It's taken me a bit to realize, but I've spent every spare dime and every spare minute on it for the last 5 years. I love minitrucking and one day I"ll get back into it, but I need a break. It's a really fun truck and it's given me some great times. But, at least until I finish school, it's time to just DRIVE something...and not be constantly obsessed with making it lower, faster, nicer-looking.

haha I know...I've loved my truck more than most girls I"ve gone out with. It's just that I realized that I've devoted almost all of my spare cash and time to that truck...there's more to life than a vehicle. :) I'm already planning on getting back to minitruckin'...but hopefully I'm gonna stay away 'till I graduate hahaha...1 more year :D

hahaha yeah man..that's the exact mantra I lived by for almost 5 yrs (bought it 5yrs ago next week :eek:). But I just keep dumping more and more and more money into it. Only to have something I don't want to drive in the snow/ice (I live in Kamloops) requiring me to have a beater, and I want to stop the constant flow of cash away from me lol

oh god, I stopped listening to 90% of the ppl on this site the day after I joined ;) I'm here 'cuz the other 10% are pretty cool :D
I think I remember that car from before I left...I"ll keep my eyes open when I'm back for a couple days later this week. Yeah man...flat black is pimp...besides...I got an insane deal on it, I can't complain :)
There was a crazy '70s Cutlass in Vic too done in flat black, tinted windows and no hood...this was last summer...one of the sexiest cars in Vic.

As a matter of fact, EVERYTHING on my truck was done by me except for machine work. Friends have helped me along the way, but almost all the work was done in abandoned parking lots (my old college on a Sunday is a prime place to work on it) and driveways.
