Hey guy's new here. Looking for a fourth gen and was wondering if you guy's could give me a head's up on what to look out for. I'm thinking LT1 6 speed and everyone that I've looked at either has high km's, been molested, or seem's shitkicked. By the way great site. Thanks*

Just keep your eye's open for a low milage Z thats in your price range, youll eventually find a good one.

also...try and get an LS1 if you can...but LT1's are fine as well

LT1 = 93-97

Defianetly get a 6 speed and t-tops.

personally i hate the leather interior, just cause GM uses such cheap leather

Other than that, look for the regular stuff, just like any other car

make sure the fuckin water pump isnt leaking. these cars can take a decent amount of beating so dont be scared away by a car thats been raced a few times a year at mission. low kms are hard to come by now, if u do find one ur gonna pay like 3-5,000 more for it.

Found one this week. 98 T/A 100K flawless. Wondering what to expect at the strip? What mods and how fast are your LS1's? Mine is stock except for Borla exhaust, high flow cat and K&N. It's an auto with tall gear's like 3:08 I think.

wow thats a pretty clean lookin car u found there.. if its auto then its a 3.23 rear end unless the guy swapped in aftermarket gears. with those mods. best runs - 13.4 and poor runs 13.8.. these r for manual trans ams however so for automatic it will be slighty slower.. buy it up and snap some pix of it, i wanna see it.

Yeah. those guys poach customers outta the buy and sell and shit, i remember they would call me so often and act like they were interested in the car then be like "well, wanna list with us for only $90"
i looked at that site and everyone wants $18-25K for their early 90's camaro's, dunno whats up with that!!

LS1?

if u can swing it..look for an LS1..[LT1..'93-97]...[LS1..98-02]....you will be happy you payed a little extra in the end....look at all the fast cars and trucks from gm..they are all LSX ENGINES....the LT1 is fine, but used you will/maybe be lookin at trouble with the OPTI SPARK DISTRIBUTOR...LS1 has 8 separate coil packs with plug wires that are only 8.5 inches long..ask around..almost everyone will say they hate it/have had trouble with the LT1 OPTI......also any future mods are easier to install on a LS1 compared to an LT1...
