View Full Version : Lookin for some help on a T5 Trans

hey guys.. I just got me a 83 camaro with a 350 swapped.. The bellhousing is cracked and also the imput shaft along with a minor part on the transmission case.

I'm attending school right now and I was able to pull the transmission off and I was wondering if there are any cheap online places/stores to find all these parts?

I need:

1- T5 GM Borg warner Bellhousing (non aluminium)
1- Imput shaft
1-* not too sure on the 4th gear

and also if there are any welders who can weld aluminium or know of a good place to get it done near the vancouver/north vancouver area, please let me know, its a small piece and I will try to take some pictures..
...

I know this is off topic, but when is the next meet? I'm stoked to get my car running and lay some rubber. :D

lots of places can weld aluminum,

I don't think you'll find an Iron bellhousing

Irocnparts is your bes bet for finding the parts you need

watch for meets, I think we have 1 in May

i think i am going to be comeing down with in the next 3 weeks for a wheel alinment. maybe we could arange someting then

sweet.. are there any canadian websites selling transmission parts? or its pretty much look for your own thing.

if i cant find the transmission fixed, what are some good transmissions that could bolt up to a 350, besides a t56? is automatic better? :kekeke:
