Everytime i go there i kick myself in the ass for bothering

i called and ordered some parts to rebuild my posi and rear end last week .. collin tells me it will be $150 for clutch packs and spring pack and $186 for the forged yoke ..

i call him today .. he says the same thing .. on confirm the parts are in .. i goto pick them up .. to find out that

$150 for clutch packts
$150 for spring kit
$186 for yoke

:( >:(

but he did give me 2 bottles of GM additive to "make up for it" ::)

i got my rear end done there, with 373 gears and added in a posi. it's gone through a lot of hell, and lasted my a few years so far with no trouble... i say those guys are good. :)

usually the way business's are run... they aint expensive for no reason. something like my boss's shope in some aspects. he does a few projects. basically takes buddies car for a couple months and slowly works on it, does everythign right, and thoughout... you pay for it though. one dude who had a 4.06 built with dart iron eagles. filled block, h beam rods, srp pistons, retro roller camand lifters, demon carb , rebuilt th 350 , 3500 stall, run braided fuel line, big him a 8.5 rear end and install it with different gearing and posi and new brakes. so far.. bill is 15,000

still need to install tank, do ENTIRE truck of wiring, finish brake lines, throttle linkage, springs in front end, put front clip back on. finish up on shifter, install proper u joint on drive shaft.

did that before this project came in with a cuda I think.... 18,000 bill , sheesh, must be nice. here I am busting my balls while he yacks away with customers and plays on teh computer half the time :ohboy:
